Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team at Upper Canada Soap & Candle Makers Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our warehouse team, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed and that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, orders, and other key metrics
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Arrange training for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly
  • Compile inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • MS Office skills are required for this role
  • Hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff
  • Help with scheduling and workflow to ensure that the warehouse is running efficiently
Supervision:

The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of more than 20 people.

Documentation Knowledge:

The Supply Chain Supervisor will be required to maintain accurate records and documentation, including accident or incident reports.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Supply Chain Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and will require attention to detail.
