Our client, a leading manufacturer of household essentials, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for a one-year contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, procurement, and installation of equipment for a powder detergent pod manufacturing process. Key responsibilities include:
* Design and installation of new equipment lines
* Troubleshooting and technical support for operational issues
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production processes
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience with packaging machinery and packaging lines
* New line installation experience
* Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma, EIT or P.Eng.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Office Suite Products
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications include:
* 2 years of experience in line installation and maintenance planning
* 2 years of experience in CPG, Food, or Pharmaceutical industries
