Job Title: Communication Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communication Officer to join our team at Fields of Harvest Church (FOHC). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote the church's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement communication plans to engage with the community and promote the church's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the church's programs and services.
  • Design and implement social media campaigns to engage with the community and promote the church's mission and values.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets to promote the church's programs and services.
  • Provide communication support to the leadership team, including writing and editing press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
  • Develop and maintain the church's website and social media platforms to ensure they are up-to-date and engaging.
  • Monitor and analyze the church's communication efforts to ensure they are effective and aligned with the church's mission and values.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in communication, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a church or non-profit setting.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their use in communication and marketing.
  • Experience with website design and development.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and software.
