We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Strategic Initiatives Coordinator with MacEwan's Office of the President. As a key member of the President's team, you will lead, coordinate, implement, track, and complete projects that support the strategic vision and priorities of the institution.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with the Chief of Staff to identify, develop, and refine projects and initiatives that align with MacEwan's strategic direction.
  • With full life cycle ownership, you will be responsible for project planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and debriefing.
  • You will build effective working relationships across the university to identify opportunities for collaboration and cross-functional support.
  • Raising urgent and/or sensitive issues while assessing options, implications, and risks, and providing recommendations to the Chief of Staff.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in public policy, business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years progressively responsible professional experience in strategic planning, project management, or a related role.
  • Training or certification in project management is an asset.
  • Experience in a post-secondary or related public sector environment is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common office programs.

This is a full-time continuing position reporting to the Chief of Staff, offering a competitive salary range of $90,208 to $121,950 per annum.
