About the Role

Cooke's Construction Services is seeking a highly skilled Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that workers have the necessary skills to complete projects efficiently.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment and tools necessary for project completion.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions to ensure that the team is working efficiently.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Material Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for project completion.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in residential construction or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
