About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Community Reintegration Specialist to join our Surrey Outreach Programs team. Reporting to the Program Manager, your primary responsibilities will include supporting women who have been incarcerated and living in our residential programs to reintegrate into their communities.
- Connect women with vital resources and services to enhance their reintegration journey.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents and provide emotional support during their transition.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A diploma in a related human/social service field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of recent experience in a front-line support worker position, working with women affected by violence/abuse.
- A valid First Aid Certificate and Class 5 Driver's License.
- Reliable transportation and ability to acquire Business Class insurance with $2 million liability.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate (achieved or upgraded within the past 12 months).
