Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business demands.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
- Establish work schedules to ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and for extended periods.
- Physical demands of the job include standing, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
