Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Star House Family Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on our dining establishment's performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with relocation costs covered by employer.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, team player.
Experience an asset, with a permanent position available. Language of work: English. Hours of work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
