Riggit Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rigging Operations Manager to lead our rigging and training team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the training of riggers of all levels, auditing their performance, and ensuring a consistent level of work is being performed.

You will work closely with the Arena Head Rigger to create and maintain training plans, improvements, hierarchy, recruitment, retention, and discipline of all riggers. Additionally, you will perform quality assurance audits of rigging installations, develop and maintain maintenance systems for Riggit inventory, and review equipment used on corporate events.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing training programs for riggers of all levels
  • Auditing the performance of riggers of all levels
  • Working with reps to design and implement rigging plans
  • Reviewing venue rigging points/structure to identify issues
  • Designing and managing the build of custom equipment

Qualifications include:

  • ETCP certified rigger preferred
  • 4 years minimum post-secondary training (related theatre/corporate/arena training)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • PC and Mac user interface experience

Terms of employment include:

  • Full-time
  • 40 hours per week
  • $49.50 per hour
