Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Egis Canada Ltd-CA. As a key member of our Building Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Perform drawing reviews, periodic field and mock-up reviews, and prepare and review reports to identify and revise action items as needed.
  • Field Testing: Conduct on-site testing to validate the performance of building enclosures, including assessments for water and air leakage and guard rail systems.
  • Client Communication: Communicate the results of reviews to the client, including meetings with clients as needed.
  • Project Support: Assist builders and developers in addressing new construction methods, deficiencies, or responding to claims of deficiencies.
  • Business Development: Identify targets and meet new potential clients in support of our business development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Science, Architectural Science.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in residential/commercial/industrial construction and/or building assessments.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal & written Communication and interpersonal skills, Excellent time management and organizational skills, Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
