Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cashier Team Lead to join our team at Sippers Liquor Mart. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cashiers to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Authorization and Returns: Authorize payments by cheque and return merchandise as needed, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Scheduling and Reporting: Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless store operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail business with a focus on excellent customer service and sales growth.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
