About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team at Setsquare Construction Ltd as a Carpenter Assistant. This is a permanent position that requires a team player with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
  • Task Assistance: Provide support to carpenters and other construction personnel in tasks such as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete and asphalt.
  • Site Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and organized construction site by removing rubble and debris.
  • Tool Management: Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights. Steel-toed safety boots are a must.

Requirements
  • Reliability: Demonstrate a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
