Capital and Maintenance Program Analyst

The Capital and Maintenance Program Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective business operations of Toronto Hydro-Electric Systems Limited's (THESL) Capital program. This position involves data gathering, analysis, and reporting to identify gaps and trends in the Capital and Maintenance Work Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process enhancements.
  2. Prepare and present reports on project/program status and outcomes to stakeholders.
  3. Manage the performance of contractors and ensure compliance with THESL's Capital and Maintenance Execution Work Program.
  4. Develop and maintain databases and automated reports to support the efficient management of capital work programs.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and deliver projects/execution.
  6. Design and implement process improvement initiatives and participate in process mapping activities.
  7. Develop and maintain reporting applications, forms, and customized databases to support business operations.
  8. Perform periodic analysis and monitoring of operations data to ensure quality assurance.
  9. Support corporate-wide initiatives to drive business strategy and development of rate applications to the regulator.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
  2. Three to five years of experience in data analysis, gap analysis, and reporting results.
  3. Three to five years of experience in business process redesign, analysis for business projects, and identification of areas for improvement.
  4. Two or more years of experience in a construction project environment.
  5. Class G license strongly preferred.
  6. Familiarity with SAP enterprise modules is an asset.
  7. Project/program management experience preferred.
  8. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Excellent analytical and business solution development skills.
  11. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access, and MS Word.
  12. Previous experience with Tableau and Alteryx is an asset.
