Job Title: Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Persepolis Persian Restaurant ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training for kitchen staff.
  • Supervise and train cooks, specialist chefs, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, such as banquets.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities for multiple restaurants.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Recruit and hire staff, and supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, and cooks.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the culinary industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
