Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Executive Director/Executive Medical Director. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Director/Executive Medical Director, including drafting correspondence, generating reports, and responding to inquiries.
  • Manage shifting appointment calendars, coordinate meetings, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate the workflow within the assigned area, receive and review confidential information, and follow up with directors and others to obtain information.
  • Develop and implement new work methods and procedures, identify problems, and develop alternate solutions.
  • Assist in the review and monitoring of expenditures for multiple budget reports, review financial status, and investigate variances.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Grade 12 plus graduation from a recognized administrative or secretarial program.
  • Five years' recent related experience in a large complex business or healthcare environment.
  • Ability to type 55 w.p.m., operate a computer, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deal effectively with others.
