The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our marketing team. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and enhancing brand visibility across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should have a passion for digital marketing, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for design and branding. Key responsibilities include:
• Social Media Management: Developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement. Creating, scheduling, and publishing content across all social media platforms. Monitoring social media trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. Engaging with online communities, responding to comments, and managing direct messages in a timely manner. Tracking and analyzing key performance metrics to optimize social media efforts.
• Marketing & Content Creation: Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns. Designing graphics and social media assets using tools like Canva and Adobe Suite. Writing compelling copy for social media. Supporting the creation of newsletters, notices, and other internal communications. Assisting with updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation, databases, media assets, reports, listings, etc.
• Event Support & Coordination: Supporting the planning and execution of promotional events, open houses, resident events, and sponsorship activities.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing or content creation is required. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and analytic tools is essential. Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is necessary. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills are required. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively is crucial. A valid driver's license is also required.
