Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, health and safety, and administration. You will work closely with our Vice President of Finance to ensure seamless execution of HR-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment: Source, select, and onboard top talent; develop and post job openings on company website, job boards, and social media platforms;
- Health and Safety: Assist in implementing health and safety awareness programs, coordinate WSIB claims, and provide in-house training;
- Administration: Provide direct administrative support to the Vice President of Finance, troubleshoot office issues, and design social media content;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (CHRP designation in progress an asset);
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in an HR role (Construction industry experience preferred);
- Comprehensive knowledge of Employment Standards Act, Canada Labour Code, and Canadian Human Rights Act;
- Strong skills in full-cycle recruitment, employment relations, and health and safety disciplines;
You will be a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills, able to handle confidential information, and work well under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and database experience are assets.
Working ConditionsThis is a permanent full-time position with occasional travel required. Ability to adapt to new software and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments and external stakeholders is essential.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. OZZ Electric offers a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive compensation package.
