We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a dynamic environment.
Job Summary:The Inpatient Medicine & ICU Program at Trillium Health Partners is a leading provider of complex medicine care in the Mississauga-Halton LHIN. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of compassion, excellence, and courage.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care for patients within an interprofessional environment, including assessment, treatment, teaching, and education.
- Teach and coach patients and families to promote healthy behaviors and self-management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of a recognized college or school of nursing.
- Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or currently meet the eligibility criteria to register in good standing in the Temporary Class or General Class with the CNO.
- Able to function to the full scope of practice as per CNO.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Experience working with acute care medicine patient populations, including respirology, nephrology, cardiology patients requiring telemetry monitoring, and geriatric patients.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of two years acute care medical/surgical experience.
- Completion of a physical assessment course.
- Experience working with Meditech and/or Sunrise Clinical Manager clinical application systems.
