Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care center setting. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations or treatments
  • Monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' condition
  • Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
  • Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
  • Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
  • Provide nursing care
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
  • Perform administrative tasks
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Criminal record check
  • Tuberculosis test
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a long-term care center setting, with a large workload and physically demanding environment. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.
