Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Fashion Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Giant Tiger in Moncton. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and making product recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, tidying up displays, and ensuring that the checkout area is well-maintained.
  • Achieve sales goals by promoting products, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell, and engaging with customers to build relationships.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets, support colleagues, and contribute to a positive store culture.
  • Perform cycle counts, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all health and safety protocols, loss prevention measures, and tobacco and lottery regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
