Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
- Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment.
- Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
- Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed.
- 5 years or more of experience in maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
- Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Dependability, flexibility, and organizational skills.
- Work in various locations, including apartment/condominium complexes, office buildings, and commercial buildings.
- Willingness to relocate for this position.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Hours of work: 30 to 44 hours per week.
