Maintenance Technician Job Description

At Hamoon Construction Inc., we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contacting tradespersons for major repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment and machinery
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact tradespersons for major repairs and maintenance
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Dependability, flexibility, and organizational skills
