Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Euro Asia Transload Inc. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with tight deadlines and a fast-paced work environment.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Dental and health care plans, as well as a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
- Permanent work term with 40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
