Assistant Supervisor Janitor/Groomer and Building Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary
As a key member of the EightSix Network team, the Assistant Supervisor Janitor/Groomer and Building Maintenance Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in our facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, snow removal, and lawn mowing.
- Assist in the preparation of work schedules for janitors/groomers and building maintenance staff.
- Participate in the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, including training and mentoring.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and other documentation as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a janitorial or maintenance role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical fitness required.
- Valid driver's license an asset.
Language Requirements
Fluency in French required to communicate effectively with team members.
