Janitorial and Building Maintenance Team Lead

Job Summary
As a key member of the EightSix Network team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintenance activities. In this dynamic and challenging position, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily tasks of janitors/groomers and building maintenance personnel, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of janitors/groomers and building maintenance personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide training and guidance to new employees to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on maintenance activities, including schedules, progress, and any issues or concerns.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a janitorial or building maintenance role, with a focus on supervision and coordination.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Fluency in French, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
