About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Finance Business Analyst who will be responsible for the financial control of large programs. The successful candidate will work as a key business partner to Program Managers and functional teams to establish and maintain the program's financial plan.

The Program Finance Business Analyst will perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and cost control guidelines. This includes coordinating program-level preparation and maintenance of financial forecasts, including orders, sales, operating income, and cash for the Monthly Forecast Review (MFR).

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. They will also have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be proficient in Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development and review of time-phased budgets following contract award
  • Tracking, monitoring, and analyzing cost performance on programs
  • Ongoing reporting of Program(s) cost and schedule variances in accordance with company policy
  • ETC/EAC preparation and review, analysis, and monitoring
  • Maintenance and reporting of timely performance data to division management team as well as customer
  • Prepare milestone schedule/invoices and analyze program cash forecast
  • Generating monthly earned value metrics for assigned program(s)
  • Providing financial analysis for audits and other financial activities
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;
  • 3-5 years of experience in an accounting/finance role
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Software;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Knowledge of SAP an asset;
  • Detailed-oriented with strong accounting and finance skills
  • Focused on teamwork and collaboration;
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written French & English proficiency.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annumSecurity Clearance:

The successful candidate must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program, obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance. Additionally, they must meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
