Senior Flight Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular flight duties as a Flight Test Engineer on Production Aircraft.
- Be responsible for the test planning and readiness, safety of flight and test operations of Production and Experimental Aircraft.
- Operate under the authority/supervision of the Manager of Flight Operations and Chief Pilot.
- Collaborate with the Flight Test Engineering Team to support aircraft operational information critical to tests being performed.
- Communicate with System Engineering, Methods Engineering, Flight Sciences and Pre-Flight on the planning, status and results of the tests performed on an aircraft.
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (P. Eng.).
- Ten (10+) years of experience in Aerospace Engineering including Flight Test Engineering.
- Masters in Engineering/Aviation and/or a Test Pilot School graduate.
- Understanding of Civil/Commercial aircraft certification Part 25 requirements.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project & Access).
- Ability to travel to remote locations to test for short (1 week) and extended periods (several weeks) of time.
