Job Title: Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at Krueger Custom Steel & Machining Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work on machinery, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Troubleshooting: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective machinery parts, including bearings, seals, and packing.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various types of equipment, including conveyor systems, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, and industrial and stationary engines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the field of industrial mechanics and millwrighting.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, Construction Millwright Trade Certification, Forklift Operator Certification, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is required.
