We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at Krueger Custom Steel & Machining Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work on machinery, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
- Troubleshooting: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective machinery parts, including bearings, seals, and packing.
- Equipment Operation: Operate various types of equipment, including conveyor systems, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, and industrial and stationary engines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
- Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, Construction Millwright Trade Certification, Forklift Operator Certification, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment.
