Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant Specialist or LPN Specialist to join our team at Watson Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic medical and nursing care, including checking vital signs and administering medications
  • Assist with medical office procedures, such as preparing patients for exams and taking medical histories
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years
  • Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment; current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment
  • 1 year experience in primary care setting preferred
