Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at VG Infotech Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Delegate work to office support staff to ensure efficient and effective use of resources
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Knowledge of office administration software and systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
