Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). As a Pharmacist - Medical Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and appropriateness of medical supplies, as well as their smooth coordination and distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pharmaceutical practices and policies in accordance with national regulations and MSF standards.
  • Supervise the storage, distribution, and ordering of drugs and medical equipment, ensuring their quality and availability.
  • Analyze consumption and medical data to inform local purchases, drug disposal, and medical donations.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on pharmaceutical practices and supply chain management.

Requirements

  • Full and current registration as a Pharmacist.
  • Minimum two years of relevant post-qualification work experience.
  • Experience in supply management and organization of stocks.
  • Excellent command of English and French (level B2).
  • Relevant travel or work experience in contexts similar to where MSF operates.

Assets

  • Relevant experience in hospital settings or remote locations.
  • Knowledge of other languages (Arabic, Spanish).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (especially Excel).
