Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management, with expertise in optimizing logistics, vendor management, and process improvement.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for analyzing and improving the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Planning & Coordination:
  • Develop and maintain supply chain schedules to ensure production and shipment timelines are met, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing demand or resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, from procurement of raw materials to the delivery of finished products to customers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and warehouses to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials and products.

  • Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement, including delivery timelines, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

  • Logistics Coordination:
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely deliveries and shipments, including arranging transportation and managing shipping schedules.
  • Work with freight forwarders, carriers, and distribution partners to ensure on-time and cost-effective transportation.

  • Process Improvement & Efficiency Optimization:
  • Continuously evaluate supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Propose solutions to optimize costs, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.

  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as import/export regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain (e.g., supplier disruptions, transportation issues) and develop contingency plans to mitigate those risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in supply chain management. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Operations.
  • 2-3 years of work experience as a Supply Chain Analyst.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Knowledge of Power-BI – an asset.
  • A demonstrated understanding of supply chain activities and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral/written), organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to details, confidentiality, thoroughness, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $90,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
