Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 1887155 Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food counter.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods.
- Inventory Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and will be required to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Physical Abilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Personal Qualities: Client focus, reliability, team player, ability to multitask, dependability, positive attitude, and flexibility.
