Job Title: Assistant Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our team at Robin's Auto Parts Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing and procuring merchandise for resale, maintaining adequate stock levels, and negotiating prices with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing and procuring merchandise for resale
  • Maintaining adequate stock levels
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers
  • Establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers
  • Reviewing requirements of the establishment and determining quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Selecting and purchasing merchandise for resale
  • Visiting trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Urban area work setting
  • Wholesale establishment/store or retail business
