We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our team at Robin's Auto Parts Ltd. as a key member of our purchasing department.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Buyer will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of merchandise for resale, maintaining adequate stock levels, and establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the selection and purchase of merchandise for resale
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and supplier information
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a purchasing or inventory management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Knowledge of database software and planogram software
Working Conditions:

The Assistant Buyer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

The work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
