Your Impact

As a Portfolio Security Advisor at Optiv, you will play a critical role in serving as a trusted partner to our clients. By combining sales skills and broad security practitioner knowledge, you will design security solutions for assigned clients in the Greater Toronto Area. Aligned with their security initiatives and alongside a dedicated sales team, you will advise and design solutions for highly defensible and scalable security programs using some of the most advanced security services and technologies.


Key Responsibilities

You will drive the generation of services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives in partnership with the account and domain teams. You will understand and maintain knowledge of the client's security environment, business operations, security needs, and risk appetite. You will identify their security concerns and how they correlate to Optiv's strategic solutions across the assigned domain and holistic cybersecurity programs.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a BS/BA or applicable work experience. A minimum of ten (10) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or cybersecurity leader, is required. You will have a thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls. Strong business and technical acumen and the ability to lead technology-focused discussions are essential. You will also maintain broad security-related knowledge and continuously expand your expertise in other domains across the portfolio.

The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
