About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at 1512687 Ontario Inc. o/a Wisla Delicatessen. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of specialty foods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery as needed to support production.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers, including wedding and specialty cakes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Setting: Supermarket or bakery department.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 44 hours per week.
