Job Title: School Bus Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Mechanic to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a School Bus Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of school buses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with school buses.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections.
  • Ensure work orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in ASE certification program and receive training, testing, and bonuses.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Holds an S and/or T license.
  • Possess a mechanic's tool set.
  • Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
