About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of school buses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses, including preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Ensure accurate completion of work orders and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in mobile emergency services and provide support to other team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Holds an S and/or T license.
  • Possesses a mechanic's tool set.
  • Willingness to participate in ASE certification program, with training, testing, and bonuses provided.
