Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Supervisor to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our infrastructure assets, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance crews to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and assess infrastructure assets to identify areas of concern and develop plans for maintenance and repair.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels and manage the procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on maintenance activities, including budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and/or road maintenance industry, with previous supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to construction sites and offices. The employee will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
