Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Supervisor to join our team at Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services. As an Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising field operations, providing quality and timely service to our customers, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train crew leaders and crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
• Plan and conduct ongoing training for field service staff in customer relations skills, horticulture and technical skills, and health & safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure a high degree of diplomacy when dealing directly with customers, resolving customer complaints, and making recommendations to operations manager.
• Monitor and maintain facility and yard organization, ensuring that all equipment and materials are assigned to crews and that work procedures are followed.
• Determine work procedures, prepare daily work schedules, and expedite workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Issue written and oral instructions, ensuring that all crew members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure appropriate scheduling and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, completing minor repairs as needed.
• Evaluate regularly Clintars service to customers and develop procedures to eliminate customer complaints.
• Supervise winter staff and storm execution within your assigned area, interviewing, hiring, and training as needed.
• Monitor field staff morale and work to promote a total team effort, ensuring that all team members are working together to achieve common goals.
• Work with Operations Manager to identify ways to ensure a high customer retention rate, evaluating performance, making wage recommendations, and administering disciplinary action consistent with HR policies and procedures.

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years Landscape and Snow experience in a large commercial Landscape/Snow Environment - MANDATORY
• Clean and valid Drivers License
• Vast knowledge and operational experience using heavy equipment (Ag tractors, Wheel Loaders, Skidsteers, Large trucks)

Education and/or Experience:
• University or College degree
• Horticultural, Landscape or CLT, CIT, CHT considered an asset
• Advanced Snow Management (ASM) or Certified Snow Professional (CSP) designation considered an asset

Physical Demands/ Work Environment:
• Spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
• Faced with constant interruptions as located in a busy office
