About the Job


We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Lead to oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and the ability to work closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.


Key Responsibilities



  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure ongoing partnerships.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by aligning project outcomes with expectations and company standards.
  • Lead and coordinate complex construction projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Supervise subcontractors and consultants, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all project phases comply with safety regulations.
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.

Qualifications



  • CET certification required (P.Eng preferred).
  • 5+ years of direct Construction Project Lead experience (preferably in a mid-sized company).
  • Experience in commercial construction an asset.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience managing construction crews.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of building envelopes, pre-engineered buildings, design-build contracts, public tender calls, and prequalification contracts.
