About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead our multi-family residential properties in Saskatoon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily operation of a portfolio of properties, managing a team of site staff, and driving efficiency and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned portfolio of buildings to optimize performance and reduce costs
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote good tenant relations and minimize vacancy loss
  • Coach site-level staff to resolve tenant issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to inform business decisions
  • Oversee rent collection policies and implement effective collection programs
  • Assist in the recruitment process for individual properties
  • Evaluate market trends and profitability to inform business strategies
  • Ensure corporate compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Represent the company at regulatory hearings

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in operations management
  • Strong background in sales and customer service
  • Ability to manage performance and provide feedback and coaching
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated team leadership and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, and budgeting techniques
  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment in challenging situations
