Mechanical Systems Inspector

The Mechanical Inspector will be assigned to a variety of projects at SGS, conducting QA inspections during the fabrication of different equipment at vendor shops based on the inspection and test plan provided by the client.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems as per the project scope.

Inspection tasks include visual welding inspection, dimensional inspection, test witness, documentation review, and issuing surveillance reports and NCRs (if applicable).

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience with inspection work and certifications such as CWB Level II or III, with API 510 and NACE certification being a strong asset.

Proficiency in using computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, are required.

The successful candidate will be able to read, understand, and follow work instructions in a safe and accurate manner.

Pay range is $55 to $60/hour depending on experience, with an ad-hoc work schedule as required by the client.
