At Canadian Engineering and Inspection Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting component defect investigations, examinations, and tests, as well as collecting and analyzing data from accidents. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to prepare draft investigative reports of findings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and relevant work experience in the field of mechanical inspection. They will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating material and equipment for compliance to standards, recommending corrective or enforcement action, and providing expert advice and testimony. Additionally, they will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests of a variety of mechanical and electronic weighing and measuring devices and systems.

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. The language of work is English, and the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
