FleishmanHillard HighRoad (FHR) is a leading communications agency seeking a skilled Account Executive to join our Public Affairs and Corporate Reputation practice groups. This exciting opportunity is for a political enthusiast with a proven understanding of the Canadian government and its branches.
Responsibilities- Monitor media, policy, and political developments for FHR clients, providing daily reports and research support.
- Conduct research and analyze government and party positions, stakeholders, and media influencers.
- Assist in preparing written materials for outreach to government, stakeholders, and media.
- Support administrative management with budget tracking and activity reporting.
- Collaborate with the team, guide interns, and maintain open communication with supervisors and account leads.
- Contribute to RFP submissions and new client pitches through research, brainstorming, and industry analysis.
- Effectively manage time and prioritize projects.
- Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Political Science.
- Strong PC skills, including MS Office and TEAMS.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of client service experience in public affairs or corporate communications.
- Excellent research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct registerable lobbying activities in Ontario and federally.
- Competitive salary range: $60,000-$70,000.
