Join Our Team as an Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Grant Thornton - Canada. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading our accounting team and providing expert advice to our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in public accounting or a related industry. You will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to new business development by understanding all Grant Thornton services and using your credibility in the field.
  • Acting as a leader in the business unit, service line, and firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan.
  • Analysis and review of corporate and personal income tax returns, NTRs and compilations.
  • Planning and leading teams to ensure that client expectations are exceeded.
  • Supervision and mentoring of an accounting team, including the review of files.
  • Leading through the coaching and performance management process of the practice by providing ongoing feedback, conducting timely performance reviews, and delivering training to develop team members.
