Job Overview

As a Senior HR Business Partner at Intel GmbH, you will play a critical role in driving business success by developing and executing effective human resource strategies. This position requires a strong understanding of Canadian employment laws and regulations, as well as HR policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in human resource management, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, leadership development, coaching, change management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, talent management, and organizational planning. A solid understanding of data analytics and the ability to develop solutions based on data-driven insights is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influencing and partnering with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Managing the HR strategy, including identifying, aligning, and optimizing HR programs, processes, and services to enable business success.
  • Conducting effectiveness coaching with senior leaders to improve leadership capability or resolve leadership gaps, and coaching, mentoring, and advising employees at all levels to drive growth and development.
  • Providing workforce planning and organization assessment to support incremental and transformational organizational change.
  • Partnering with relevant leadership teams to deliver against business and people objectives, promoting a high-performance culture, and serving as a steward of corporate HR practices, guidelines, and policies.
  • Encouraging positive employee relations by using sensing tools, engaging directly with employees, and monitoring organizational health.
  • Acting as a credible domain expert to lead talent decisions, forecasting, and workforce planning, in partnership with business and Talent Acquisition partners to enable a holistic strategic workforce plan.
  • Providing advice and counsel to executives and senior leaders on all talent matters, identifying key talent, organizational planning, succession, talent reviews, recognition and rewards, performance improvement, terminations, employee relations issues, and corporate people movement.
  • Partnering with leaders to address the root causes of HR issues by leveraging strong organizational, business, and financial acumen to increase productivity, engagement, and organization health.
  • Managing talent pools at the business level and playing an active role in the recruitment and interview processes, influencing selection processes that encourage diversity of candidates, geographic workforce, and use of best hiring practices to attract talent.
  • Using data to understand the health of talent and related HR services within the business and developing interventions in partnership with the Centers of Excellence to resolve business challenges.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree or equivalent, or at least 7+ years of experience in lieu of the degree. A Master's degree and HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are preferred. The candidate should have demonstrable ability to influence decision-making with leaders and business partners, strong organizational skills, and the ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items.

Experience conducting investigations and managing a structured performance management process is also essential. A consultative style and approach, with the ability to develop credible relationships with business partners, is required. The candidate should have demonstrated experience successfully partnering with executives and managers in support of business objectives, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and experience working in a global, matrixed, and diverse environment.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in Canada: CAD 84,830.00-127,170.00. Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
