Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team at Clearwater Structures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the project lifecycle to ensure the production team delivers a quality product to customers on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules, manage project hand-off meetings, and ensure proper planning and mapping of project fabrication strategies.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress to identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Communication: Proactively liaise with internal and external teams to ensure communication and set expectations on project progress, delivery dates, issues, etc.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects in various stages of completion, depending upon size and complexity.
- Resource Management: Define resource requirements and work with the purchaser to help manage material inventory with production cue.
- Policy and Procedure: Follow policies, procedures, and methodologies.
- Change Management: Prepare and negotiate all project change orders.
- Documentation: Manage and coordinate all shop drawings, field drawings, and all other project details with all required parties.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the fabrication, structural steel, or construction industry, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, solid knowledge of trades and equipment typical of a steel fabrication shop (large custom fabrication, welding, assembly).
- Skillset: A proactive self-starter with the ability to dive in and figure things out, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, excellent human relations skills with the ability to promote teamwork and resolve conflicts.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of weld symbols, ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings, proficient in AutoCAD, comfortable using power and hand tools.
- Soft Skills: Solid ability to schedule and manage deliverables, ability to resolve scheduling and technical conflicts, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong working knowledge of construction drawings and blueprints.
- Personal Qualities: Commitment to continuous improvement, proficient problem-solving skills, positive can-do attitude.
- Salary: $85,000-105,000/year, based on experience.
